I don't have anything to add, other than "me too". For the last few weeks/month I haven't been able to suspend properly. It's like its going to sleep (log shows all the steps for suspending to ram properly), but mobo doesn't actually shut down power to fans, etc and won't re-awaken. Have to pull the plug to get it to boot/reboot (tried sysrq keys even). Daily driver is the ck kernel (3.10.2-1 currently installed), but I also tried with the stock kernel (3.9.9-1). In order to suspend to ram, I've been using the LTS kernel (3.0.85-1).

I experience same issue. However, no log is available to analysis. When putting the system in suspend-to-ram mode, the power led keep on fast flashing. A hard power-off is required to reboot the box.

As I posted in the official discussion forum I have exactly the same problem as vlad and liubenyuan, someone on ck's blog has indicated there are a couple patches to fix this
here:
http://ck-hack.blogspot.com/2013/07/bfs … 4685820715
which he posted a couple times on the thread on the 20th of July.
hopefully they will be fixed in the next 3.10 release

Hi, I notice the linux-ck update at AUR, I will try it by commenting out line 110 in PKGBUILD.
I will report the result once I am done. However, currently repo-ck sites seems to be done for retrieving file : kernel-310-gcc48-1.patch.gz

I can confirm that the recent pushed arch core repo of 3.10.2 suspends to RAM on this computer fine.
so far 2 from 2

confirm. using latest linux-ck AUR with line 110 commentted out.
UPDATED, failed once, 6/7. I will switch to the vanilla kernel.
I donnot know what the CPU regression patch altered. or the linux-ck patch has to do with the suspend-to-ram failure.

Same here. Everything was O.K up to 3.10, will have to revert to vanilla as well

Not quite still, I have a Core2 that doesn't suspend properly with latest 3.10.4-1-ck.

@sirdeiu, I don't think you actually looked at that link. There was a response from Con Kolivas yesterday. So considering that the 3.10.4-1-ck kernel was built several days before that... I'm not sure how you would have expected any fixes to be included. Besides, it was not really any presented solution, it was just CK asking for pictures of the output of the crashes.

Yet anoher 'me too' - Lenovo X200 (C2D, X4500) with 3.10.4-1-ck. As someone else reported, the 'suspend' LED flashes rapidly after some systemd suspends (rather than lighting solidly) and the fan stays on; it doesn't seem possible to resume without a hard reboot. pm-suspend seems to work fine though.

To all who have experienced a suspend problem with linux-ck: please try 3.11.1-2 from the repo or built yourself. Several (5 so far) have reported that it fixes their suspend issues.[1]

Working suspend/resume for me now with linux-ck-core2 3.11.1-2 and nvidia-ck-core2 installed from your repo. Thanks CK.

Thanks graysky for the update, and packaging/maintaining your repo.
Solid week of trouble-free suspend/resume cycles. It's good to be back on the CK builds!
