I just installed Pitivi and tried to open a WMV file created with Windows. It complained about missing an ASF decoder plugin so I installed gstreamer-plugins-ugly. Then it complained about missing the Window Media decoder, so I converted the WMV to an MP4 and then it complained about missing an H.264 decoder. Then I converted it to an m4v with MPEG-4 encoding using handbrake and it complained about not having a MPEG-4 decoder.
What do I have to install to get these decoders?

Did you install all base, good, bad, ugly and ffmpeg plugins for gstreamer?

Only gstreamer0.10-good plugins are dependencies https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm … ny/pitivi/
Maybe the rest should be added to optdepends?
