Hi.
Few days ago I bought lenovo Y580 and have button that is starting recovery Windows8. I would like to change somehow that linux with linux installer. On my hard driver there is last partition 1gb so there would be enough space for files... what do you think, if I will remove file that are on that partition and copy there iso...
Anyone tried that ? or any other ideas how to do that ?

Well if you use grub and your boot manager is intact, grub can boot an iso. Is that what you mean?

one key recovery is just one useless feature to make things look good for windows 8... and that one key theatre button too... wtf ? I used one key theatre to start XBMC (that's true OKT) and one key recovery to lock my session, or launch system settings... whatever you like... recovery is just useless, it's a "feature" made by lenovo because Windows 8 doesn't support backup on disk in traditional way, so them make that... and if your HDD fails, you lost your recovery... the only thing I miss i the LED behind the mute button. I wish i could make that work...
