Installing Limbo

Limbo (stylized as LIMBO) is a puzzle-platform video game, the first title by independent Danish game developer Playdead. Its available in AUR, but somehow I cant manage to install it.

  -> Lade limbo-1.3.tar.gz herunter...
Could not find hib://limbo-1.3.tar.gz. Manually download it to "/tmp/yaourt-tmp-manuel/aur-limbo", or set up a hib:// DLAGENT in /etc/makepkg.conf.
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build limbo.

But as I download it directly from the AUR it does not work as well.

Any help?

Re: Installing Limbo

The AUR has only the PKGBUILD and some scripts.
Did you do what you were told to i.e. download the game manually or set up hib:// DLAGENT in /etc/makepkg.conf? https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p1328141

Re: Installing Limbo

I can see where the confusion came from in this case: The Humble Bundle download for LIMBO is named "limbo-1.3.tar.gz", which is pretty similar to the AUR tarball name "limbo.tar.gz" (especially since the AUR package's fully qualified name is "limbo 1.3-5").

Most other Humble Bundle downloads have more unique archive names like "markoftheninja_linux_29_1379628609.zip" or "Eets_Munchies_1379626460_32.tar.gz", which makes it easy to differentiate them from the corresponding AUR packages.
