[SOLVED]modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia not found.

Okay. What am I doing wrong?
First I ran into this trouble:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=170363
Never resolved it other than leaving the kernel and nvidia drivers downgraded.  Not acceptable forever, obviously.

So I decided to try another card, the Nvidia GeForce 210.  Nvidia website indicates it would use nvidia 319.xx but forum research showed people using 325.xx successfully.  I didn't even see 319.xx offered in pacman repository.

No matter what I try, the nvidia module is not being loaded nor can it even seem to be found.

[sb@zpro ~]$ sudo modprobe nvidia
[sudo] password for sb:
modprobe: FATAL: Module nvidia not found.
[sb@zpro ~]$

pacman -Ql nvidia
http://bpaste.net/show/138176/

[sb@zpro ~]$ lspci | grep "VGA"
05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2)
[sb@zpro ~]$

lsmod:
http://bpaste.net/show/138175/

[sb@zpro ~]$ cd /usr/lib/modules/
3.10.13-1-lts/ 3.11.3-1-ARCH/ extramodules-3.10-lts/ extramodules-3.11-ARCH

[sb@zpro ~]$ cd 3.11.3-1-ARCH
build@ modules.alias.bin modules.dep.bin modules.symbols
extramodules@ modules.builtin modules.devname modules.symbols.bin
kernel/ modules.builtin.bin modules.order
modules.alias modules.dep modules.softdep

[sb@zpro ~]$ cd extramodules
nvidia.ko.gz version

[sb@zpro ~]$pacman -Qs xf86-video-*
[sb@zpro ~]$

[sb@zpro ~]$ grep EE /var/log/Xorg.0.log
http://bpaste.net/show/138177/

nouveau is blacklisted both in kernel line and in /etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.conf

Apologies if this is covered in your links, I'm on t'bus and can't check them right now, but are you sure that you have the driver built for the kernel you're booted in to installed? e.g. if you're using linux-lts, you need nvidia-lts. If you have rolled back your kernel version, you also need to rollback your nvida package. If you have a custom built kernel, you probably need a custom built nvidia package. etc.

Recently, I discovered the nvidia website offers bad advice for driver version.[1]  Just for kicks, have you tried the nvidia-304-xx package?

Oh wow.  I knew it was going to be something stupid I did but I wasn't expecting it to be this stupid.
I had linux-lts installed from trying to get my old graphics card to work from my original thread I linked to.

I forgot I had put it as the first option and default boot option.  I was still booting into linux-lts and I thought I was booting into 3.11.3-1.

Thank you!

I am sorry for wasting everyone else's time.  Thank you graysky for posting as well.

For completion, Nvidia GeForce 210 does use the nvidia 325.15-8 driver.

Will edit topic as solved.  Thanks again!
