VDPAU acceleration lost from VLC

VLC 2.1.0-3.
I had VDPAU option as hardware acceleration, but now i don't see it, it's lost, only va-api

$ vlc
VLC media player 2.1.0 Rincewind (revision 2.1.0-0-gedd8835)
[0x1d88118] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface.
libva info: VA-API version 0.34.0
libva info: va_getDriverName() returns 0
libva info: Trying to open /usr/lib/dri/nvidia_drv_video.so
libva info: Found init function __vaDriverInit_0_33
libva info: va_openDriver() returns 0
[0x7f9e1cec4328] avcodec decoder: Using VA API version 0.34 for hardware decoding.
$ pacman -Ss vdpau
extra/libva-vdpau-driver 0.7.4-1 [installed]
    VDPAU backend for VA API
extra/libvdpau 0.7-1 [installed]
    Nvidia VDPAU library
$ pacman -Qs nvidia
local/lib32-nvidia-libgl 325.15-1
    NVIDIA drivers libraries symlinks (32-bit)
local/lib32-nvidia-utils 325.15-1
    NVIDIA drivers utilities (32-bit)
local/libvdpau 0.7-1
    Nvidia VDPAU library
local/nvidia-ck-k10 325.15-7 (ck-k10)
    NVIDIA drivers for linux-ck. AMD 61xx Eight-Core Magny-Cours, Athlon X2 7x50/Phenom X3/X4/II, Athlon II/X2/X3/X4, and Turion II/K10 optimized.
local/nvidia-libgl 325.15-1
    NVIDIA drivers libraries symlinks
local/nvidia-utils 325.15-1
    NVIDIA drivers utilities

i.e. i had

To enable hardware acceleration: Tools -> Preferences -> Input & Codecs, then set Hardware-accelerated decoding to "Video Decode and Presentation API for Unix (VDPAU)"

but it's gone.
nVidia 9600GT, KDE 4.11, x86_64

Re: VDPAU acceleration lost from VLC

building without PKG_CONFIG_PATH+="/usr/lib/ffmpeg-compat/pkgconfig" solves it.
