Lenovo T400 turns off by itself

Hi guys..is there a way to debug why this is happening..It shuts down like someone would execute a command poweroff..is it possible that systemd is involved in this..?!

So you mean that it goes through the shutdown process, not just instantly shutting off?
You can look in /var/log/journal/ for any clues right before the shutdown, or use the command

journalctl

to view the contents. You can post the section near the reboot if you're not sure. More info about the systemd journal log here:
