bumblebee provides nvidia-libgl
├─lib32-primus
├─nvidia
└─primusAccording to this wiki entry, bumblebee should provide lib32-nvidia-libgl. I can't install it seperately as it conflicts with lib32-mesa-libgl. Can someone help me with this please.

What exactly is the problem? What are you trying to do?
The wiki doesn't say what you say it does.

I have an nvidia optimus laptop and i'm using bumblebee. As far as i understand, i'll need lib32-nvidia-libgl (or maybe not?) to play 32-bit games on steam. The wiki says this:
Warning: Do not install lib32-nvidia-libgl. Bumblebee will find the correct lib32 NVIDIA libraries without it.Last edited by nabukadnezar43 (2013-10-11 21:16:07)

What happens if you try playing 32-bit games?

I don't have any games installed right now. I'm just speaking theoretically. I do own a few games on steam, so i'll try and see what happens.

I just tested my setup with counter-strike source. I had a great FPS rate and got no errors. And for those still wondering, this is the reply i got on #bumblebee from the primus developer amonakov:
<amonakov> nabukadnezar43: you need lib32-mesa-libgl, but not lib32-nvidia-libgl
<amonakov> those are just packages to setup symlinksLast edited by nabukadnezar43 (2013-10-11 23:14:21)

Do you have lib32-mesa-libgl installed?
Do you have lib32-nvidia-utils installed?
Offline
Yes i have both installed.

What seems to be the problem then?

The problem was that i couldn't install lib32-nvidia-libgl because it was conflicting with lib32-mesa-libgl (which is needed by lib32-virtual-gl). Now i've been told that i don't need to install lib32-nvidia-libgl, that having only lib32-mesa-libgl will suffice. Problem solved.

The wiki explicitly tells you not to install lib32-nvidia-libgl.

The wiki also explicitly tells that bumblebee will find the correct lib32 NVIDIA libraries. I was thinking that those libraries would include lib32-nvidia-libgl. That's what got me confused.
