I am honestly not sure if this is the right place to post it but today's update brought a new LibreOffice version and, due to some font problems in the past that crashed the app, I usually run it after it updates "just to check".
The thing I noticed though is that in the splash screen the beta term is displayed (as far as I can remember I had never seen it before). Therefore I checked the 'About LibreOffice' and there it is displayed that it is 'Version: 4.1.2.3 (Compilation ID: 4.1.2.3 Arch Linux build-2)'.
Thus on the one hand what puzzle me is this 'beta' thing and on the other hand that package(s) and app version differ.
Am I too picky or is there actually something to fix?
EDiT - Comply title with actual package name.

Thanks karol.
That sheds some light on the 'beta' display.
As for the app version differing from the package's one I presume it might be a good idea to fill a bug report and see what answer I get.

The version number is 4.1.2, see http://www.libreoffice.org/download/release-notes/. The last "-2" in the package version is the pkgrel, it means this is the second Arch build of this version. The last ".3" in the LO version is the build number, it is increased in each release candidate before the actual release, so in this case it means there were 3 RC's before the final 4.1.2 release.
In other words, there is nothing to fix here.

Thank you for the explanation arojas.
It seems that the reason for the confusion, at least in my case, may have been that despite being the final version (4.1.2) the LO staff considers that the 'About...' information is a minor issue to be up to date with.
