Any time I try to test an android app in the emulator I get a kernel panic. I'm quite lost and never tryed to debug at kernel level. How can I get on the right direction?
$ uname -a
Linux alienarch 3.11.5-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Oct 14 08:31:43 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Thanks in advance.

Any chance that you are using Android x86 with KVM virtualization? If so, you should disable the Virtualbox kernel modules. Those are so crappy that you get an instant lockup when using KVM with the vbox modules loaded.

I've thought about debugging with my Android phone so I connected the device to my computer and I went to see if it was detected. Running 'adb devices' also triggered the kernel panic. It is not an emulator fault.
Thanks for your time

For a start, can you get a picture of the kernel panic (or text from logs)?

It has been magically fixed by kernel 3.12!!
I think it was related to graphic card stuff.
Thanks anyway for your time!
