[SOLVED] Cant upgrade after not having used arch for a while

Hey there,
I havent used arch for quite a while and now I tried to update my system but I get following error:
I would appreciate help smile!

Unless you really need e.g. blueman or bluedevil, remove bluez4 with 'pacman -Rdd bluez4' and update your system.

Hey,
after removing bluez I had the same exact error with obexd-client after removing it too the system is updating now.

Ummm, so did you end up removing bluez or bluez4?

Actually Im not quite sure I tried untill it worked. I think I removed bluez first because when I typed in 'pacman -Rdd bluez4' it told me bluez4 wasnt installed. I think afterwards I installed bluez4 - Im not sure - but after typing in pacman -Syu this came out:

:: bluez and obexd-client are in conflict. Remove obexd-client? [y/N] y
:: bluez and bluez4 are in conflict. Remove bluez4? [y/N] y  

and it started updating
I also had to follow these instructions: https://www.archlinux.org/news/binaries … ervention/

Wow! Did it just work? Did you reboot and can you use all the applications like before?
