I dont know if this is the correct place to put this since it involves aur package but, any one have tried ostree-git with succes?

Well, it depends a bit on what you want to do with it. I'm trying to store a pacstrap in an ostree and then boot it but there are at least a couple of issues
* The bootloader setup is not working. With gummiboot it fails because it tries to create symlinks on FAT. Grub does not have the freedesktop loader specification patches that Fedora ships. The extlinux support makes several assumptions that are not true with Arch default configuration. I got extlinux to work more or less and I'll see if I can get patches upstream.
* The initramfs code currently supports only dracut. I guess it might work with the dracut aur package. Though adding support for mkinitcpio doesn't look too difficult, I'll see if I can do that.
The aur package is also a bit outdated. If I can get it to really work, I'll try to get it updated.
