Hi! I'm using xmonad and I'm looking to set up OSD on my Thinkpad T420. I have installed tpb and made /dev/nvram 0664 via a udev rule, however the OSD doesn't seem to be working. There are no error messages of any kind, it just doesn't work. I have tried changing colours and placements for tpb in /etc/tpbrc and I've read wiki pages for tpb on both ArchWiki and ThinkWiki. Seems like tpb is quite dated.
How are my fellow Thinkpad users managing OSD in a WM?
