Steam and Xorg woes

So I've been trying to run Steam and I just get errors every single time. I'm running a dual screen 1920x1080 setup with the catalyst packages (I get the same results with xf86-video-ati et. all as well) and as far as I'm aware, the multilib packages as well. I have the font files and the rest too.

The error log I've been getting:

I've got Xorg.conf set up with aticonfig and aticccle as well. I'm not using Xinerama as in some of the topics I read on here it lead to errors. I've done searching already and nothing I've tried worked.

So, you're saying, you are not sure, if you get the same message with the lib32 packages. Then you should first test that. Even though Steam says something about 64bit, it is still an 32bit-only application, that can launch 64bit games. So you need the lib32-packages of your driver (Catalyst or open-source).

Even though Steam says something about 64bit, it is still an 32bit-only application, that can launch 64bit games. So you need the lib32-packages of your driver (Catalyst or open-source).

I have the lib32 (tried both with catalyst and the foss ati) packages and it's the same.
