Anyone here that plays DotA 2 notice a vram leak?

Hello All,

Whenever I play DotA 2 on Steam, I notice that my vram usage just continues to go up and up and up while I can play something like Heroes of Newerth and the vram usage is relatively constant.

Is this just me?

Also, I'm using nvidia-smi for my memory usage and I have a gtx 460.

Haven't noticed that myself even with long sessions. Then again I don't monitor vram (why do you bother?) closely, and have 2GB of it here on my 635M.

Alright, fair enough. I guess my GPU just doesn't have enough memory anymore. Lame. I just assumed that because a game like Heroes of Newerth which is 2/3 DotA already would be similar in terms of hardware taxation but as far as I have seen, DotA 2 is far more expensive and looks about the same in terms of quality.

Thank you though smile
