Grub not finding partition new install

I went through the entire process of install from the wiki and when I reboot I get

no such device (followed by a bunch of letters and numbers)
Loading Linux  core repo Kernel ...
error: no such partition
Loading initial ramdisk ...
Error: you need to load the Kernel first

I am running Grub

Please post the output of blkid and your grub config. Also, when posting, please paste exact and complete errors, not approximations.
