Assertion failed when using VDPAU on an AMD-E350

Hi,

Whenever I try to use some VDPAU-related software, I get this error:

[mfag@luna ~]$ DISPLAY=:0 vdpauinfo
display: :0   screen: 0
Error creating VDPAU device: 23
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dl-close.c: 771: _dl_close: Assertion `map->l_init_called' failed!

My APU (CPU + GPU) is an AMD E-350, here's the vital info about my system and versions of software:

[mfag@luna ~]$ uname -a
Linux luna 3.11.6-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Oct 18 23:22:36 CEST 2013 x86_64 GNU/Linux

[mfag@luna ~]$ lspci  | grep VGA
00:01.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Wrestler [Radeon HD 6310]

ati-dri 9.2.2-1
mesa 9.2.2-1
libvdpau 0.7-1

Does anyone know how to solve this?

This is a long(-ish, in 'net terms, several months now)-standing, well known problem affecting lots of software. If you Google for the last part of the error message, it will turn up lots of results, including this one related to VDPAU.

I don't know if this will help, but there is a [mesa-git] repo by lordheavy (info here). There may me a cure for the first issue in the latest graphics stack. The second one I have as well with a HD 6850 but it doesn't seem to effect vdpau from working.
