jack and realtime??

if i log in under root..i can get jack to run in realtime..but under user it wont run in realtime..spits out Xruns then dies..in message panel it says it cant get lock on memory...coming over from Debian..i had to have real time module installed to get realtime..do i need it installed on Arch or is this just a permission  issue?if its a permission issue whee is file that i need to edit??if you can point me in the direction i can probably figure out rest with in time...

make sure you are member of the audio group.

just a note... you may have to create the audio user group. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Udev has info on groups.

There currently seem to be some problems with rlimits in Arch.
