Hi all,
I am using the Archiso project and it works really well. However, I'd like to be able to persist my changes to the system on reboot, is there a way to accomplish that? I am booting to a USB thumb drive.
Secondly, how can I make the ISO image of a fixed size? Would padding the image with the amount of space I want the image to take up work (mkisofs -pad # bytes)?

Boot with cow_label=FS_LABEL or cow_device=/dev/DEVICE
See the README for other options [#1]
An ISO with a fixed size for what?

Hi,
That is perfect. I am copying it to a USB key, so what I will do is instead generate a fixed size for COW device.
Thanks much,
Walter

This README file is empty! Is there another place where I can find complete instruction (wiki, forum, blog...)?
Thanks

Another solution is to install arch to the usb drive:
