There is a ton of packages required for a full-featured instance of Horde 5.
I see that the user numkem submitted some AURs back in February. However, the core system is not available in packaged form.
I have never made a package for Arch before and have made no attempt to package Horde. Based on how big and complex Horde is, I do not think this is the right packaging project to start learning it either. (I suspect that I would run in to too many issues, become overwhelmed, and give up.)

Have you tried talking to numkem first? Maybe the two of you can work something out. The PKGBUILDS do not look overly complicated.
To be honest, I wouldn't use the AUR for this, I'd use pear, the description on the site is very clear and pear is quite easy to use. As a disclaimer, I have to inform you, that there has been a huge discussion going on all over the community regarding the packaging of web applications. There has not been a real result so far, I guess.
EDIT: I decided to try it with pear. Installing horde/Horde_Core pulls in all the dependencies Horde_Core needs. Whatever you decide to use, I advice against mixing AUR and pear activity.
