Dex - Cyberpunk 2D RPG for Linux

Hello everyone,

We are proud to introduce our exciting new game, Dex - a 2D side-scrolling action/stealth RPG in a cyberpunk setting for Linux.

The most innovative aspect of Dex, both from a story and a gameplay perspective, is that it takes place in two planes: physical reality and cyberspace (which is presented as a sort of augmented reality). Cyberspace is omnipresent - you can go there anytime for an alternate take on things - and it is up to you to choose how to overcome all obstacles and enemies. More than one solution can work - pure action, stealth, or cutting through intrusion countermeasures in cyberspace.

Dex will be distributed DRM-Free! Confirmed platforms are Linux, Mac, Windows and OUYA.

Release is scheduled for June 2014, with early access available for Kickstarter backers.

I hope this initial OUYA exclusivity doesn't put off too many backers. Too bad, that Kickstarter only accepts credit card from where I live. I hope you get through your funding.

Thanks Awebb. Don't worry, the OUYA exclusivity is only for two month and is not applicable to PC (Linux, Mac and Windows), it's mean the launch date is same for all announced platforms. The payment options of Kickstarter per country are sad. Once we reach the goal, we start own paypal, probably.

You should reach out to the humble guys and get their payment widget on your site for pre-orders/funding outside of Kickstarter.

Game looks cool.
