Old version of MAME

Hi,
I am searching for an old version of MAME (like the usual 0.35b) to use in my EEE PC (1.6 Mhz processor big_smile), but I am unable to find something useful. I have found an old xmame (version 0.37b11, a nice close) but it doesn't fits screen  (it only have 1x, 2x, 3x... escale). Versions in oficial repositories seem to be pretty new so, there is a way to play MAME with real fullscreen on a limited PC?
Thank you for reading.

I tried to compile from there, but it exedes my knowledge so far big_smile (and I am not sure if I could get complete fullscreen like on xmame).

Re: Old version of MAME

I have tried sdlmame with a front end and it really sucked, but just now I have run it from terminal and it do an acceptable work smile (But it's still worse than 0.35). Besides I dont wanted to worry with new romsets big_smile.

Re: Old version of MAME

I've been using Advancemame & Advancemenu on the Raspberry Pi which might be worth a shot. It's fairly lightweight, pleasant enough to interact with via advmenu and is focused on display support. I've only tested it with older roms as my hardware will allow.
