Hi all,
I've started using Arch on my Eeepc 1015PX, and have found there to be quite a massive drop in battery life. When I was using Fedora, I was getting a battery life of at least 3 hours. At the moment, I'm lucky to get 50 minutes. I've followed the wiki guides on how to use laptop-mode-tools and configure systemd to handle things like the lid closing, but I'm still not sure if there's anything I'm missing. Does anyone have any experience with making eeepcs have a longer battery life on Arch? Any tips or places to look would be greatly appreciated.

Use powertop to find out what processes/devices eat up the most of your battery.
Also, you're battery is in really bad shape. I'd recommend buying a new one.
