Hi guys,
I am using the default HDA Intel sound card of my Thinkpad X200T. I do not run pulseaudio but just ALSA.
However, I cannot set my Headphone channel to be entirely muted.

I muted Master and Headphone but still I get sound through my headphones. In order to mute it completely I have to set PCM to zero.
I doubt this is normal. Any solution to this?

I did not find any other solution except for installing and using pulseaudio. This now automatically handles the correct settings though I would have preferred an ALSA only solution.
