Hi, on my phone now. Brought my laptop to hospital but all of a sudden can't connect to a single wifi. First of all it couldn't find the hospital WiFi so I looked up WiFi radar in the docs - was clueless and still am. I sudoku vim'd instead of visudo-ing /etc/bookmarks. Before I realized I didn't even have wifi-radar installed.
And now I for some reason can't connect to a single network - tried sharing the network on my phone - because it NEVER asks for password but instead just says
Jib for nettle@wlp2s0\x2dhmndata.service failed. See 'systemctl status netctl@wlp2s0\x2dhmndata.service' and 'journalctl -xn' for details.
I am about to flip out.... How do I connect to wifi? Always worked before now!!!!!!!

Well, let us look at the very basics.
What are the outputs of:
rfkill list
ip link
and of
sudo iw wlp2s0 scan

Not soft blocked, not hard blocked.
ip link:
[...]

I don't have iw installed

There is a lot of output and since I don't have any connection on my laptop to upload it, what do I look for?

I dunno, how about the name of a network to which you may want to attach?
Pare it down some like this:
ewaller$@$odin ~ 1006 %sudo iwlist scan | grep SSID
lo Interface doesn't support scanning.
enp3s0 Interface doesn't support scanning.
ESSID:"Woodlyn"
ESSID:"Merlin"
ESSID:"2WIRE883"
ESSID:"jands"
ESSID:"mcfab"
ewaller$@$odin ~ 1007 %
I can see five networks right now.

I am on my laptop now and I got on wifi for some reason now.. Rebooted 20 times yesterday. Well now I can post logs. I don't know if the problem will cease.
sudo iwlist scan: http://sprunge.us/FFjU
I also saw some errors in the boot process regarding usb; how do I find this?
