Hey guys, my notebook has arch with xfce. I'm using gala as window manager and plank. The system works pretty fine, except for some problems with Musique and QjackCtl. I was thinking on posting this problem in multimedia section, but i think the problem is not related to sound. Both applications show these strange characters, as if the system were configured in a strange language:

I'm brazilian, everything is setup as pt_BR.utf8, and en_US.utf8 is as second language.
If I set my ~/.xinitrc to "exec musique" or "exec qjackctl", both apps run perfectly.

I'd say this is font-related; checkout fc-cache and play with your xfce font-settings to see if something got corrupted somewhere

Thanks Spider.007. It was really the font, I changed it to the default one and the problem was solved.
