Hi,
I just did a big software actualization and I lost the compose key. I guess I may have lost some comments about that during actualization.
I sought documentation about that and found this one:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … on_in_Xorg
To get the code that should be put in /usr/share/X11/locale/fr_FR.utf8/Compose, it just suggest to run:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Keyboard_Configuration_in_Xorg
But this would just give me part of the code. I remember that documentation was easier earlier so that one would not have to dig into forum to configure keyboard.

I tried to find back were to configure compose key in meanders of cinnamon configuration tool with no luck so far!
I think it should be in Region & language settings but I could not figure out were exactly.

I actually have to run manually the following command to get it working:
setxkbmap -option compose:rctrl
but that's not what I want (of course)!

It was not clear to me why you felt the need to start two threads. Please do not do that.
