R.A.T. 9 configuring with imwheel

Hey all

So I wanted to get my R.A.T. 9 to work. I followed the instructions here All Mouse Buttons Working - ArchWiki and the mouse itself works like a charm.
But now I want that the red button (button 12) closes a window (alt + f4). So I used imwheel and edited /etc/X11/imwheel/imwheelrc to

None, ExtBt9, Alt_L|F4

Imwheel recognizes Button 12 as ExtBt9 (shown here Imwheel manpage)
So now Button 12 "becomes" ExtBt9 which "becomes" Alt_L|F4 but this somehow doesn't work.
I really need help here, I've been trying to fix this for hours.
