Flash Player Glitch

I have a new install of Arch.
I just copied the contents of a Flash tarball into my filesystem (I got this off the flash website).
When I play a youtube video, the space where the video is suppost to be, is a squashed little box, with purple and bluish colorings.
However, I did get one video to play properly on youtube? Couldn't do it again tho...
Any ideas?

Re: Flash Player Glitch

Why didn't you use flashplugin package?
What graphics card and drivers are you using?

Re: Flash Player Glitch

I installed flashplugin package the other day.
I have Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller.
When I installed Arch, I installed the xf86-video-intel driver.
I use Firefox 26.

Re: Flash Player Glitch

Does it look like this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=170914 ?

If you're using an old integrated Intel card you may be out of luck. Try using e.g. google-chrome browser.

Flash works fine for most people atm, only those with unsupported hardware are in trouble.
