[SOLVED] Func KB-460 Keyboard

Hi!

I bought myself for Christmas the Func KB-460 Keyboard (http://www.func.net/en/products/kb-460-gaming-keyboard/). I wanted to try out a mechanical keyboard and until now I really like it!

But I have the issue that the indication lights for NumLock and CapsLock are not working. The keys are doing their job perfectly fine but it would be nice to have the full functionality of my keyboard.

Does anyone of you guys have an idea how to fix this?

Thank you for your help!

I did the same (along with the MS-3 mouse). Occasionally, the capslock/numpad LEDs work, but otherwise they're off. The FUNC-mode LED always works, but I suspect that it's entirely controlled hardware-side. Oh well. sad

Re: [SOLVED] Func KB-460 Keyboard

It looks like the keyboard doesn't toggle its LEDs when you press any of the lock keys.

I've written a simple program that basically just does a write-back to the LED status for the keyboard: https://github.com/ricky26/kb460ledd.

I've also stubbed out a PKGBUILD for it, if you want to give it a try, you can use the code snippet below. I've added it to my XFCE startup programs, and the two indicator LEDs are working as expected!

curl -O https://gist.github.com/ricky26/8166576/raw/461b8ccecc24eb046ecfb01114cbdd7c74ed721a/PKGBUILD
makepkg -si
