Network transfers slows down my PC

Hi!

I had a problem with the USB transfers that slowed down my PC too but then I resolved it: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=174384.
But apparently now I've got problem when transferring over the network. Whether it is from the internet or through NFS, my computer has small freezes as long as the transfer is in progress (I can mainly feel it when you move the mouse).

Maybe one of you have or had this problem too?

I've got a pretty simple 64-bit Arch Linux installed and up to date.
