Tilda Transparency Issue

I am running gnome3 with arch.

I can't get any transparency when I use tilda.

I haven't got a clue how to go about working out what is at fault.

Can anyone please advise?

I have read this. Other than detailing what tilda is, this is documentation to get a terminal window on the desktop.

The problem is, the setting inside tilda (to set transparency) does nothing.

Re: Tilda Transparency Issue

Have you tried an alternative like Guake?

Also gnome 3.8 onwards I have found a lot of people having issues the transparency on there terminal. You should check those threads.
