Well, Since I've been using this GREAT music player I have this problem. Everything works fine and suddenly it stop working (its windows is closed) with no message at all. Everytime I had to click on its icon again so the player come back.
I am using Gnome (64 bits), I don't know if there's a problem with it.
Do you guys have any idea about what's going on or what shall I do to "fix" the behavior?
Thank you in advance.

phonon-gstreamer 4.7 seems to be quite unstable and it is advised (by upstream even) to switch to phonon-vlc, no clue how you'd go about switching backends while on gnome though

Ah, I didn't know that.
I have searched over the Internet it switching from phonon-gstreamer to phono-vlc doesn't look like an easy task. I will wait here to see if someone has an idea of how I do that.
Thanks a lot for your explanation

I think you could just install phonon-vlc and remove phonon-gstreamer, logout and back in.
Note that you will loose some small features due to libvlc limitations like the analyzer widget and fadeout on pause/stop, but it won't crash anymore ![]()

I just installed (pacman -R phonon-gstreamer). No dependences were affected (I think it has some). Now I will wait and see if everything will be ok.
This is what I had to do right?
Thanks a lot
