time out error when installing package using pacman

when i try to install firefox using

pacman -S firefox

it retured an error

error: failed retrieving file 'keyutils-1.5.8-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz from archlinux.polymorf.fr : Resolving timed out after 10520 milliseconds

pacman was working some days ago

from forum i knew that it was problem related to disabling ipv6

i added 

 ipv6.disable=1

after quite in grub.cfg

also added

noipv6rs

to /etc/dhcpcd.conf

but the problem didin't solved
Please help

Can you post the exact output when you do:

sudo pacman -Syyu

Then when after it finishes the output of:

sudo pacman -S firefox

If this doesn't work as you say could you post the output of your mirrorlist and pacman.conf?

I was having the same issue. The http://mirror.us.leaseweb.net/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch mirror is being very slow. In fact all leaseweb mirrors are having issues. I switched to another mirror, and everything is fine now.

for every mirror the output is same 

failed to retrieve file x from y :Resolving timed out after 10521

some days ago pacman was working
the same problem was there but after sometime it works automatically
now every time i take net it shows this error message

Did you disable all the leaseweb mirrors by commenting them out in the /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist file?

These points are quite a good place to start troubleshooting.

I would try generating a new mirror list of best fit for yourself

Mirrorlist Gen

and as aaditya linked to sort your gateway out. Whenever I get DNS problems I just use 8.8.8.8
