My wifi speed is about 1Mbps and my ethernet is about 21 Mbps.
Here is my /etc/hosts: http://pastebin.com/SkuGHumj
And my /etc/rc.conf is blank.
I am very sorry if this is obvious. Ive searched around but so far have been unable to find a solution.
Thanks

Of more interest would be your wireless card and the driver you have installed and how you manage your wireless connections.
Also, you shouldn't have an /etc/rc.conf, it was deprecated over a year ago.

While we're waiting for usable info, I'll just add that wifi is always slower than wired, so the comparison is pointless.

Yes, I realize that wifi is slower than wired connection but 20Mbps? Also, it should be noted that on my previous Manjaro and Ubuntu installations my wifi speed was about 18Mbps.

Never used Intel wifi myself, so I could be wrong, but shouldn't you be using ipw2200 for that device?

Yes, thank you. I cant believe I missed that. I installed ipw2200-fr and reloaded the module and its fixed now.
Thank you

Glad you got it sorted. You edit your first post and prepend it to the title.
