Can You Make Rox Pinboard Backdrop Transparent?

I am using XFCE4 and Rox-Filer with pinboard, so that I can place a few icons onto my desktop (home folder, removable drives, etc.). Is there a way to make Rox's pinboard backdrop transparent, so that I can see the XFCE background image behind it? I know that I can set any image I want for the Rox background, so I don't have a problem creating the backdrop I want, its just that I was hoping to use XFCE functionality for this, not Rox.

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Right now all I can think of is that you need to use the Composite extension in X, as well as transset to set app translucency.

Ageed, idesktop, xtdesk, adesk - any of these would place icons right onto the desktop, but I rather like Rox and would prefer to keep using it. So, I was trying to figure out if the pinboard could be made transparent.
