[Solved] Suddenly all browsers use wrong fonts in KDE

Hello!

For some ubscure reason all my browsers (firefox, chromium, rekonq, opera) use wrong fonts.
For example the Arch forums are shown completely as monospace fonts (even the links like "User list" on top). I reset firefox to standard settings with no effect on THat problem.

I don't want to define fixed fonts in all my browsers, because I don't belive that this is the cause for the mess.
Also some fonts in some applications like pgAdmin are mesed up also. The GTK configuration in KDE system-settings are set to use the same as in KDE ...

I am quite lost because I have no idea how to tacle this ...

Any help is very much appreciated ...

Forgot to mention: Sites like "arstechnica.com" do not share this problem and look just fine ...

I just found that Konqueror doesn't show this strange behaviour, but I do not want to go with konqueror from now on... p.

the problem disappeared by ... I don't know what did it while I was trying to find a fix - one of my experiments worked ...
