Flickering lines with terminus

When I take a regular screenshot, the lines are not visible, so I added them into a regular screenshot. The lines are not always that color, I have seen them in several diffrent stripped patterns. They seem to be somehow related to terminus, because when I move or resize (this happens in floating and tiled modes) the window even one pixel, they stop until somthing triggers them again. My window manager is i3.

Has anyone else had similar issues or have a direction to point me in?

Edit: It also is happening in firefox on http://vimdoc.sourceforge.net/htmldoc/visual.html. Certian elements of the page seem to trigger it, but I can't seem to figure out what those are, but that is the only page that triggers it so far.
