so while i am here..out of curiosity does the install allow for setting up a PPPoE adsl connection? Not that i need to (i will just be going through my router box) but i am curious. One of my friends tried installing recently and he has a DHCP DSL connection and he couldn't get it working.
Anything i need to know for setting up a connection to my router. I am pretty sure i have set how to do it but any coments are welcome.

I don't use DSL so I'm not the guy to talk to about this. The ppp package was patched with the pppoe stuff so it should work, but if you have troubles, try asking Jeepster, as he uses DSL with Arch. If he's not around the forum, he's usually kicking around on the irc channel.
