[Solved] Set PulseAudio sink encoding formats from pacmd

Hey guys,

Using pavucontrol it's possible to tell PulseAudio the supported passthrough encoding formats. It looks like this in the interface.

Is there a way I can make these changes using pacmd?

Ahh. There is another utility called 'pactl' that you can use to set the formats like so:

pactl set-sink-formats 0 "pcm;ac3-iec61937;dts-iec61937"
