The latest cmus update has a lower version number. Should I uninstall and install the new lower version?

Really?
[2014-01-18 08:02] [PACMAN] upgraded cmus (2.5.0-4 -> 2.5.0-5)Version is the same, but it's a new release.

Doesn't matter, they're the same.
Probably file a bug report, though, it looks like there was a screw up and it got rebuilt twice for the same dependency soname bump.

cmus had a higher pkgrel before. From the commit diff:
pkgname=cmus
pkgver=2.5.0
-pkgrel=6
+pkgrel=5So pacman -Syu gave a warning:
warning: cmus: local (2.5.0-6) is newer than community (2.5.0-5)So either wait for a new package release or uninstall and install cmus again. I did the latter.
Should this be reported as a bug?

I only saw https://www.archlinux.org/packages/comm … 6_64/cmus/ and https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … kages/cmus and thought it was a case of https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=175900 , but Scimmia seems right.

Makes sense. I just reinstalled it to get rid of the pacman warning.
