Secondary graphics card not being recognised.

I just got my laptop back from being repaired, and it seems that, after freshly installing arch, the secondary GPU is not being recognised. I have used lspci and xrandr --listproviders and have come up with only the integrated card. Currently I am running on a samsung series 7 chronos 15.6 inch with the HD intel integrated chipset and a second  Raedon HD6490M. Any ideas? Thank you for any help you can give, and I hope my formatting was alright. I am new to the forum.

Re: Secondary graphics card not being recognised.

formatting : you did use code tags, but in future you might want to use multiple code blocks  to make output more readable.

As to your problem :

since lspci/xrandr doesn't show anything related to radeon cards, i suggest you look into bios/uefi settings.
As your laptop got repaired, chances are the settings have been set back to factory defaults.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)

Re: Secondary graphics card not being recognised.

I went back earlier today and tryed looking into my BIOS and came up with nothing. There, oddly enough, is no setting to enable or disable, or even set some sort of graphics card. I have; however, looked into the problem a bit more and by luck found that others with the same laptop had a sort of similar problem on windows, and they used the SWupdate tool to fix it. I am going to try sometime soon to make a small partition and install windows, and hopefully update the BIOS.
