Hi,
I'm trying to do basic bluetooth operation with PC<>Android phone - send files both directions.
I have
iam[8:29:22]:~% sudo pacman -Qs bluetooth
local/bluez 5.14-1
Daemons for the bluetooth protocol stack
local/bluez-libs 5.14-1
Deprecated libraries for the bluetooth protocol stack
local/bluez-utils 5.14-1
Development and debugging utilities for the bluetooth protocol stack
local/gnome-bluetooth 3.10.0-1
The GNOME Bluetooth Subsystem
local/sbc 1.1-1
Bluetooth Subband Codec (SBC) library
I can send files with bluetooth-sendto
Cant receive from the phone.
Can't even pair.
Following the BT wiki page, I'm using bluetoothctl
I can't pair from the PC. The phone won't respond to the pairing $pair xxx request - no sign of activity.
When I pair from the phone (discoverable on), I can't pass the authentication.
[bluetooth]# devices
Device 8C:77:12:77:40:26 My Android Phone
Device F8:A4:5F:F0:4F:BB Hongmi phone
[CHG] Device F8:A4:5F:F0:4F:BB Connected: no
[CHG] Device F8:A4:5F:F0:4F:BB Connected: yes
Request confirmation
[agent] Confirm passkey 446438 (yes/no): yes
[CHG] Device F8:A4:5F:F0:4F:BB Connected: no
I tried typing yes and the code displayed. What actually do I need to type? Tried clicking the phone's "confirm the passkey..." button before and after typing PIN or yes on the PC. In all the cases I got pairing failed due to incorrect pin message on the phone.
Waiting for suggestions.
