[SOLVED] nm-applet fails to show in awn

Hi,

  nm-applet fails to show in awn on boot.  If I kill the process and start it manually, it still doesn't show, but there might be a clue here:-

$ nm-applet

I don't understand why you felt the need to bump your thread with this.  These forums are incredibly active and if someone has some idea of why this is or isn't working, they will respond.

Avant Window Navigator was a dead project and was dropped from the official repos when it stopped working.  SanskritFritz of these forums picked up the project and is now the new maintainer.  It might be good to actually ask the upstream if this is a known issue or not.  See the thread about AWN dying.

Edit: I see now you were in the process of marking the thread as [Solved].  Sorry for the noise.
