Hey Everyone I am now greatly confused. I have tried everything I can think of to get the sound card to work.

Well one thing I just discovered was that if I plug into the headphones port I get sound. I checked and alsamixer shows spearker at 100

I know this is like 11 years later but I had recently fixed this on my own Q550L. I realized that pulseaudio and pipewire were both running at once. Make sure you only have one audio driver running.

Closing this old thread. Pipewire did literally not exist when this was relevant.
