Freeze when trying to shutdown

Hi !

I have Archlinux installed on my laptop (MSI GE60) and everything was going fine until last Saturday. Now, when I try to shutdown the computer, it simply freezes with the shadows of opened windows and the Fluxbox toolbar. Then I can do nothing else, leaving me no choice but power it off by long-pressing the power button.
I tried to use several commands : shutdown -hP, shutdown -P, reboot, systemctl poweroff. The result is the same with every of them.
Something I noticed is that it only happens when the laptop is running on battery. When it is plugged in, it shuts down normally. And if I shortly press the physical power button, the laptop shuts down correctly too (stops services, unmounts partitions...).

I found this thread by someone who had the same problem, but it is quite old and the solution given didn't work for me (rmmod ehci_pci , rmmod ehci_hcd , then shutdown).

Thank you for your help. wink
