Install the nvidia package. nvidia-304xx is for older cards.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

What karol said is right.  Also, it seems you haven't read the nvidia archwiki so I'll post that in case something else comes up for you during installation. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA
Good luck!

I'm afraid he did read it and thought nvidia 750m is a GeForce 6/7 series card:

For GeForce 6/7 series cards [NV40-NVAF], install nvidia-304xx package, available in the official repositories.

but according to http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/CodeNames/ (the link is in the second 'Tip' box) it's a NVE0, so it's 'NVC0 and newer' and thus you should install 'nvidia' package.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

It occurs the option as below when I install the nvidia package.

nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl are in conflict. Remove mesa-libgl [y/N]

Whatever I have choose, it can't continue to install.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

And why exactly can't you continue installing? Another error? If so, posting it might be a good thing to do.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

if I choose y, it shows the message as below.

error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: ati-dri : requires mesa-libgl
:: glamor-egl : requires mesa-libgl
:: intel-dri : requires mesa-libgl
:: nouveau-dri : requires mesa-libgl

if I choose N, it shows the message as below.

error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl are in conflict

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

I wonder why you have ati-dri installed, since it sounds as if you're using an nvidia graphics card.
If you want to install nvidia-libgl you'll have to uninstall ati-dri, glamor-egl, intel-dri and nouveau-dri, it's says exactly this.

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

Actually, I want to set up my desktop environment to gnome-shell, but it still has some problems. So, How can I test it to make sure that I have succuessfully installed nvidia driver?

Re: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M Driver

If you want the proprietary driver, you'll have to 'pacman -S nvidia'.
'pacman -Qi' gives you info about a package you have installed.
A list of all the packages you installed is available my issuing 'pacman -Q'
So, for example, my 'pacman -Q | grep -i nvidia' gives me:

lib32-nvidia-libgl 331.38-1
lib32-nvidia-utils 331.38-1
nvidia 331.38-2
nvidia-libgl 331.38-1
nvidia-utils 331.38-1

If you have the last three you're good to go.
