Machine Check Exception - CPUs didnt answer in synch

Hi guys,

recently I've encountered this kind of a problem (fig.). I'm not sure if it really is a hardware error or not, because I have Windows 7 on that machine (other hdd though) and there is no single problem. Also I have overclocked rig, but the same goes on defaults under the linux. Memtest show no errors. If I am lucky it will even pass Slim login manager and I can work for a while. I'm on latest kernel and system updated.

Sorry, if I put this into wrong section as I am still noob in archlinux.

what info do you need and how can I get it for you? smile

Re: Machine Check Exception - CPUs didnt answer in synch

you see a text "run the above through mcelog --ascii" .
install mcelog , check wiki / man page   and post what mcelog tells you.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Run memtest86+ and cpuburnin to check for HW issues.
