Tor Transparent Proxy

Hello all I am trying to use tor as a transparent proxy. As of now I have cleared iptables and stopped tor. I followed a guide and everything was correct no errors but when I tried to do 'ping -c 3 www.google.com' and i get unknown host www.google.com

Re: Tor Transparent Proxy

If you followed "a guide" correctly, then the guide is wrong or incomplete. Have you tried "another guide"?

Yes.  For everyone else searching, I noticed if the clock is more than a few hours off Tor/Vidalia has problems due to the use of SSL and will not connect or if so very unreliably.

Don't forget to add [SOLVED] if solved.
