gnome-shell

I have installed gnome-shell, xorg-server, xorg-xinit packages. But I execute startx, it occurs the errors as following.

xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to  X server: Connection refused
xinit: server error

And the /var/log/Xorg.0.log shows (EE) messages as following.

No devices detected.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

If after reading that and you are sure you followed the guide properly.  Post your xorg log as well as your xinitrc.

I'm pretty sure that error means you haven't installed a video driver.

From his last thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=176788 it seems he has his drivers or should by now.
